Giants WR Hakeem Nicks still limited in practice, questionable for week 2

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks put in another limited practice on Saturday and is officially listed as questionable for Monday night's game versus the St. Louis Rams. He is still guaranteeing that he will play, that the bone bruise on his left knee won't keep him on the sidelines. However, it's not really his call; it's really up to team doctors. But according to Nicks, "I'm pretty comfortable with what they're telling me," he said to ESPNNewYork.com.

Fantasy Analysis:

I'm holding firm to my thinking that Nicks will play. He has sworn all week that he will. However, if you're uneasy about the possibility that NIcks may be a last-minute inactive, go pick up Domenik Hixon @domenik_hixon for insurance. He's a guy with a lot of speed who usually returns kicks for the Giants. But if Nicks is out, Hixon is expected to start in his place. Nicks' absence would also mean big things for Mario Manningham @ManninghamNYG, who would become the Giants' No. 1 WR.
