Bears WR Roy Williams questionable; RB Marion Barber doubtful
In case you needed another reason to not start Roy Williams in fantasy, here you go: He's listed as questionable to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints because of a groin injury and will be a game-time decision. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before being limited on Friday.
Also, running back Marion Barber
is officially listed as doubtful on the injury report. He still has a bothersome calf injury, which kept him out of the season-opening game versus Atlanta. He tried to practice on it Wednesday, but appears to have had a setback.
Fantasy Analysis:
There were reports last night that Barber has already been ruled out, so Kahlil Bell
will continue to chip in as the Bears' No. 2 RB. He got 10 carries last week, but it's still Matt Forte's show in that backfield. He remains a low-end RB1 in standard leagues.
With Williams uncertain, you could see Johnny Knox
draw the start against a Saints secondary that was absolutely torched by the Packers last week. It would be poetic justic for Knox, who shouldn't have lost his starting spot to Williams in the first place. If you're in a pinch, Knox could be a nice WR3.
