Rams RB Steven Jackson thinks he might play

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson @sj39 has still not yet decided whether he thinks he will be able to play on Monday Night Football against the New York Giants. Jackson was removed from St. Louis regular season opener due to a quad injury. In his place, Cadillac Williams had 140 total yards and five receptions. Jackson has a reputation for playing through pain so this situation remains unclear.

Fantasy Analysis:

Given Jackson's ability to be a workhorse back, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets some touches this game and negates fantasy upside Williams may currently have. Jackson feels he has "an outside chance" to play which sounds like he'll be questionable leading into the game. It's too bad because on the Rams' first play, Jackson busted a 47-yard touchdown run only to be held out from the game after a second carry. Jackson has to be in your lineup if he plays since the Giants' defense is so banged up and couldn't even manage to stop Rex Grossman last week.
