Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas questionable for Monday
It looks like the Miami Dolphins won't need to use Larry Johnson this week. Rookie running back Daniel Thomas practiced for the second consecutive day Saturday. He's been bothered by a hamstring injury that he suffered earlier in the week during practice. He is listed on the team's official injury report as questionable, but after these last two sessions, Thomas is expected to play against the New England Patriots on Monday night. Johnson was signed as insurance on Thursday.
Fantasy Analysis:
And he will play second fiddle to Reggie Bush. Thomas looked thoroughly unimpressive during the preseason, getting stuffed at the goal line on multiple occasions even though he is expected to be the Dolphins' short-yardage runner. Thomas seemed to be a valuable fantasy pick for this season about two months ago. Now, you don't want him anywhere near your lineup until he shows something. Bush is a good RB2 in PPR leagues.
