Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas hurting; Larry Johnson re-signed
It's unknown if Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas will be able to play Monday night because of a hamstring injury he picked up during Wednesday's practice. He missed Thursday's session, but returned today as a limited participant. He is day-to-day and considered to be a game-time decision.
So just in case Thomas can't make it, the Dolphins have re-signed Larry Johnson. Johnson was added to the team last month, but didn't survive the final cuts of training camp. However, the Dolphins told him upon his release to be ready if something changed, and Johnson was brought back Thursdsay.
Fantasy Analysis:
Johnson's there for depth, nothing else. And what a fall for Thomas in about two months time. He went from being the Dolphins' unquestioned No. 1 runnning back to being in a timeshare to being a second fiddle and now he's hurt. Reggie Bush
should see a lot of touches -- somewhere between 17-20 -- against the New England Patriots and is a solid flex option in standard leagues. He's probably an RB2 in PPR leagues.
