Report: Colts' Peyton Manning needs another neck procedure

Nothing is certain as of right now, but there is a lot of buzz this evening about Peyton Manning's neck. This past week, ESPN's Adam Schefter insinuated that he would not play in week one, saying that the Colts were planning as if Kerry Collins would start at quarterback.
On Sunday night, John Michael Vincent of ESPN 1070 AM in Indianapolis states via Twitter, citing multiple unnamed sources, that Manning needs to have more work done on his neck and will be out indefinitely.
When reached for comment by Sports Illustrated, Colts vice chairman Bill Polian said, "I don't know anything about that. I honestly don't."
Vincent also wrote on Twttier that "If I'm wrong, you can torch me."

Fantasy Analysis:

This is a developing story; nothing has really been confirmed yet. As of now, even I am willing to assume that Manning won't play next Sunday versus the Texans. I won't speculate on anything past that, but this report certainly doesn't sound promising. Manning should slide down your board if you haven't drafted yet. He's now the No. 8 QB overall at best.
But we'll provide updates as warranted.
