Vikings counting on WR Bernard Berrian

Could 30-year-old Bernard Berrian @B_Twice be responsible for making Minnesota Vikings' offense "explosive" this season? Head coach Leslie Frazier is counting on it.
"Bernard Berrian is really the guy we like to see be able to do that for us," Frazier said Sunday. "Michael Jenkins @MikeJenk84 has that kind of capability as well but we're counting on Bernard to be able to make the type of plays he made on that first drive (versus Dallas on Saturday night). If that does happen for us, we have a chance to be an explosive offense."

Fantasy Analysis:

This is what happens when your team doesn't have a lot of quality depth at wide receiver. You're left to depend on Bernard Berrian to be your difference-maker. Someone's got to take the pressure off of Percy Harvin @Percy_Harvin, but don't expect Berrian to become 2011's top breakout wide receiver. He'll have a few good games mixed in with a lot more average-below averages ones. His best season came in 2008 when he gained 964 yards and scored seven touchdowns. Since he is starting, I think you can take a look at him in the final rounds of your draft. I always think there's fantasy value for any starting WR.
