Bears will cut RB Chester Taylor
After warming the bench for all of preseason game No. 3, Chester Taylor voiced his displeasure with his lack of playing time with the Chicago Bears. He won't have to worry about that any longer; they are going to cut him. So says Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times,who had a league source tell him the Bears have notified Taylor he will be released. Marion Barber
will be the immediate backup to starter Matt Forte
. Kahlil Bell
will be the team's third running back.
Fantasy Analysis:
Taylor is 31 years old and did a whole lot of nothing last season after it was expected that he'd be the Bears' goal-line runner. He scored three touchdowns. He had a couple of decent years with the Vikings, but it is unlikely he will ever hold noticeable fantasy value again. Barber is the handcuff you want for Forte ... if you are a believer in handcuffs. Not so much for me.
