Redskins RB Ryan Torain returns to practice

The Washington Redskins running back situation just became a little more muddled with the return of RB Ryan Torain @RyanTorain who had missed the last 24 days of practice because of a broken hand. Torain emerged last year for Skins, at least when he was healthy. He rushed for 742 yards and four scores while only starting eight games. Tim Hightower @Tim_Hightower and rookie Roy Helu @royhelujr29 look like the top contenders for the starting role.

Fantasy Analysis:

The potential for big things is there for Torain but his injury history is as unreliable as they come. Hightower has impressed this year and Washington will definitely give Helu an opportunity to show what he can do. Torain burst on the scene in his second start against the Chicago Bears when he rushed for 100 yards and two scores. Although he proved he can play, it's just not likely the Redskins will lean on him too hard in order to avoid another rash of injuries.
