Cowboys not concerned about WR Miles Austin's hamstring problems
The Dallas Cowboys had a lot of hype entering last season but the injury to QB Tony Romo ended that talk abruptly when he broke his collarbone. This year, expectations are high for the team and Romo, but also for WR Miles Austin
as the Cowboys' No. 1 WR. Austin has been battling with a tweak to his hamstring this preseason. Receivers coach Jimmy Robinson said, 'I think he will be fine. [Austin] knows how to play, know how to get ready. Professional in every sense of the word. I have no concerns. I don't think [head coach Jason] Garrett has any as well."
Fantasy Analysis:
Austin is being drafted with the expectation that he can replicate his 2009 breakout season when he was typically the No. 2 scoring WR in the fantasy football. He put up 81 receptions for 1,320 yards and 11 scores. Entering his sixth season at the age of 27, Austin is in the athletic prime of his career. The Cowboys, like them or not, do possess a very good offense that isn't afraid to attack downfield. Austin can only improve with Romo back under center after playing most of 2010 with QB Jon Kitna.
