Gates was injured while being tackled in the second quarter against the Titans and while the Chargers passing game responded without him, they will be hard pressed to have same results against a solid Colts' secondary. TE Brandon Manumaleuna saw more snaps against the Titans with Gates out and the Chargers will be forced to rely on LaDainian Tomlinson more in the short passing game.
