Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw feels better than he has in years
Ahmad Bradshaw
's feet have been put through the ringer in the past 18 months or so as he has undergone three surgeries to fix fractures, relieve pressure and insert screws . But Bradshaw said Tuesday that his body hasn't felt this good in years.
"You know, it's a little bit of everything," Bradshaw told the Bergen Record. "I just feel fresh and young again. Like I said, I feel tremendous on my feet. ... It just takes a toll. With the screws I have now in my feet make it feel 10 times better."
Bradshaw signed a four-year, $18 million deal with the New York Giants a couple of weeks ago and is coming off a career-best season in which he gained more than 1,500 yards from scrimmage.
Fantasy Analysis:
Foot issues are always going to be a problem for Bradshaw, and he had two new screws put into his feet during the offseason. But he is a game-breaking running back who is a decent receiver and has scored at least seven touchdowns in each of the past two seasons. He'll defintely lose some carries and goal-line work to Brandon Jacobs, but Bradshaw is a solid RB2.
