WR Marques Colston returned to practice on Sunday
Saints wide receiver Marques Colston
was finally able to return to practice on Sunday after being sidelined for over a week with his knee injury. Colston underwent knee surgery and was battling with irritation and swelling. He expects to play in the Saints' second preseason game this week against the Houston Texans. Of course, he'll have to avoid setbacks in order to put his knee to the test.
Fantasy Analysis:
Colston is no longer the strong WR2 we've come to expect year-in and year-out. Since New Orleans does such a great job spreading the ball around and couple that with his injury concerns, Colston presents plenty of risk at his current third round average draft position. We'll see how he does when he is able to play again in the remaining preseason games but right now, draft him at your own risk. The upside of Lance Moore
and Robert Meachem presents a more attractive value since both players can be had much later in drafts.
