Steve Slaton becomes latest Texans RB to injure hamstring

Arian Foster @ArianFoster, Ben Tate @BenTateRB and now Steve Slaton @Steve23Slaton. All three are Houston Texans running backs who are currently nursing hamstring injuries. Slaton's injury took place during practice Thursday. "Hamstring, tweaked a hamstring," head coach Gary Kubiak said of Slaton. "That seems to be the thing we've got going on right now, and we're being hit at one spot, so that makes it tough. We'll see." Kubiak also said Foster is "doing fine," but that he will play it safe and hold him out of practice until next week. Tate could return as soon as today.

Fantasy Analysis:

And so, Derrick Ward @DerrickWard32 is the last man standing in the Texans' backfield at the moment. Slaton was thought to be on the trading block a couple of weeks ago. Regardless, he is not draft-worthy in fantasy. When all players are healthy, I think Slaton is Houston's No. 4 RB. We'll update Foster's status next week. He's still a top-three pick.
