His knowledge of the game and of this offense is superior. He's a really focused football player, and obviously what he does for us from tackle to tackle, he's a dynamic finisher. He is a complete football player and this guy's got a bright, bright future ahead of him. there's nothing he can't do."

High praise from Wilson heaped onto Mendenhall here, but there isn't much of a counter-argument. He may have ignited a mini-controversy with his opinions on Twitter, but his performance on the field remains unquestioned. On 324 carries last year, he rushed for 1,273 yards and scored 13 times. After such a productive year, expectations are very high and the only thing that can slow him down are injuries. Fantasy owners should view Mendenhall as a late-first to early-second round pick.
