Colts' Austin Collie feeling good, absolutely not retiring

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie @AKCollie_17 was fantasy football's most productive wideout through the first three weeks of last season. However, his 2010 will be remembered for concussions. He suffered two concussions last year -- in week nine at Philadelphia and week 15 versus Jacksonville. That trauma forced him to miss six of his final eight games, and he couldn't finish either of those two games in which he participated. So the media started to wonder if Collie would hang it up prior to the 2011 season. Collie's answer has been an emphatic no. "I don't think for me there really was a decision," Collie told the Indianapolis Star. "I didn't even entertain the thought of not coming back. I think the media made their own stories as far as what I was going to do. "But I always knew I was going to come back." Collie told the Star that he feels good and has had "no problems" with concussion symptoms. "I feel like my routes are crisp and I'm catching the ball well," he said. "I'm doing all the little things."

Fantasy Analysis:

How Collie is doing now and how he'll respond during games are quite different. But everything sounds positive right now. Collie scored eight touchdowns in nine games last year, but also remember that Pierre Garcon @PierreGarcon hardly played in weeks 2-4. When Garcon was on the field, Collie's numbers were fairly moderate. As such, I think Collie should be drafted as one of the top WR3s, but not much higher than that.
