Injury report for Baltimore-Pittsburgh game

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers

Ravens safety Tom Zbikowski @tommyzbikowski (back) is listed as questionable, but fully participated in practice. Center Matt Birk (knee) and cornerback Chris Carr (thigh) are both listed as questionable and were limited in practice. Linebacker Tavares Gooden (shoulder) and wide receiver Donte' Stallworth @DonteStallworth (illness) are listed as probable and fully participated in practice.

Steelers defensive end Aaron Smith (triceps) is doubtful and was limited in practice. Cornerback Bryant McFadden @25mcfadden (abdomen) and safety Troy Polamalu @tpolamalu (ankle) are probable and fully participated in practice.

Fantasy Analysis:

This game has the second fewest amount of injury totals of the four games this weekend. Polamalu being probable is a very good sign for Pittsburgh, but the Steelers might not have Smith (which is an issue). Most 3-4 defenses don't have the depth to really replace a defensive end as quality starters are hard to come by. Considering that Baltimore is going to come out (like most playoff teams) and attempt to establish the run, they should run right at that weakness if Smith is out. For the Ravens, their players are dinged up but the one player of note to me is Birk. Losing a center is a big deal since they make all the line calls every play. Centers know their offense just as well as most quarterbacks do. Making the right calls quickly and effectively isn't easy. Any small disruption on the offensive line can disrupt the entire offense. If he doesn't play or gets hurt during the game, it's bad news for Baltimore.
