Eagles' Michael Vick says he's 90 percent healthy

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick @MikeVick said Tuesday that his injured quad is 90 percent healed. This is an upgrade from his Monday diagnosis that muscle was just 75 percent healed. On Monday, Vick guaranteed that he won't miss Sunday's playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. That'll never happen," Vick said during a Monday radio interview. "Regardless of what the situation is, I'm gonna make sure I'm there for my team. ... I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to go out there and play." Vick injured the muscle on the first play of the Eagles' Dec. 28 game versus Minnesota Vikings. While he lasted through that loss, he didn't play in the regular-season finale versus the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Analysis:

It's only Tuesday, so I'm going to assume that Vick will be at or very, very close to 100 percent by this weekend. Of course, who knows if he's being truthful with his estimate? These increasing percentages may just be positive thinking. But he is expected to start Sunday and should be a very high selection in fantasy playoff drafts. Speaking of drafts, Vick's rushing ability, improved passing skills and a low turnover count has turned him from free-agent pickup to a first-round pick in 2011.
