Peterson had a follow-up MRI on his injured LCL this past week and his return to action in Week 13 now seems on track. Minnesota appears to want to ease Peterson back into action and anticipates that he will split carries with Chester Taylor this week against Detroit. Taylor has been quite productive during Peterson's injury and Minnesota will benefit from having both RBs healthy. Look for Peterson to continue to practice this week and play this weekend. Taylor has scored 4 TDs in the past 2 weeks, so do not expect him to sit now that Peterson is on the road to recovery.
