Seahawks' Mike Williams practices fully Wednesday
The Seattle Seahawks are absolutely vacant in the passing game. A positive sign came Wednesday as leading receiver Mike Williams
practiced fully and appears to be on track to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Williams has missed the majority of the past three games because of a couple of foot ailments. He suffered a mid-foot strain in week 10 and then aggravated it in week 11. He returned to action after missing a game, only to be sidelined again after spraining his ankle.
"It's been a very frustrating last few weeks, trying to get into my groove," Williams said. "I'm excited to get back out here and bring the energy and try to be a shot in the arm for our group and for our offense."
Despite missing so much time recently, Williams is tops in Seattle when it comes to catches and receiving yards.
Fantasy Analysis:
Ben Obomanu
, who also missed last week's game because of a deep laceration on his hand, practiced fully as well but you should know by now that Obomanu only has value when Williams doesn't play. I know it's risky to start Williams right away, but he's got a good matchup -- Atlanta has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to wideouts -- and you know he's going to get a bunch of targets from Matt Hasselbeck
. If he starts this week, I think he's a pretty good WR3 option.
