Ryan Mathews is 'most questionable' among Chargers' injured players

Players are supposed to get healthy during their bye week and that seems to be the case for the majority of the San Diego Chargers' fantasy-notable players. But apparently that's not the case for running back Ryan Mathews @rmathews24. He didn't practice Monday and according to the San Diego-Union Tribune, he is the "most questionable" player on the team to play right now. Head coach Norv Turner told the publication he is taking a "wait and see" approach with Mathews' sprained right ankle. Malcom Floyd did practice Monday and appears on track to return this week from a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the past three games. Fellow wideout Legedu Naanee @naanee11 didn't practice because of his own hamstring ailment and tight end Antonio Gates @AntonioGates85 was also absent, but he said he was feeling better. Gates is dealing with numerous foot issues, including a torn plantar fascia in the right one.

Fantasy Analysis:

At this point I'm not sure it matters how Mathews is feeling. He's been a major disappointment and even if he can play Monday against the Broncos, he's a very average flex play. If Floyd and Gates play -- something I expect to happen -- both should be in all lineups. Don't forget Floyd was one of the top WRs in fantasy through five games before going down in week six.
