Titans' Vince Young is full participant in Wednesday's practice
I know I'm beating this horse by now, but it's almost always more noteworthy when an injured player practices rather than sits out on Wednesday. Steven Jackson, DeAngelo Williams, Brett Favre didn't practice today? No great cause for concern. But Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young
appears primed to return to action in week eight. Young took part in his first practice Wednesday since suffering knee and ankle sprains Oct. 18. It was a full practice and barring a setback, the chances seem real that he'll be the team's starter this Sunday in San Diego. "I feel a little bit better," Young said. "I am going to take it day by day. As long as it continues to get better I will continue to do more things." In other Titans practice news, running back Chris Johnson
was limited today because of a thigh injury. He will be fine.
Fantasy Analysis:
Young tried to go last week, but was ruled out after some pregame warmups. Kerry Collins was OK against Philadelphia, but he got a lot of help from Kenny Britt and the Eagles' clumsy secondary. Young's return is good news for that entire offense. He already has a good connection going with Britt and he could breathe life back into Nate Washington's fantasy stock. The Chargers have a very solid pass defense and play even better at home. You'll probably want to find better QB options than Young, although in this bye-heavy week, that may be tough. Britt is still a must-start.
