Austin Collie doesn't know when he'll return to Colts
While Indianapolis Colts running back Joseph Addai is reportedly out indefinitely with a shoulder injury, wide receiver Austin Collie
is expected to miss a few weeks after undergoing thumb surgery last week. But maybe it's time to put the indefinite tag on him, too. When asked about his recovery timetable Tuesday, Collie said he doesn't have one.
"It's just a day-to-day thing, its something you can't put a date on," Collie said. "It has to do with the body, it has to do with how my body handles it. It's a game of patience and just waiting.
"Just kinda letting the surgery and the operation kinda take place and let the healing process begin."
Fantasy Analysis:
Collie was setting the fantasy world on fire in the first three weeks, but has since cooled down a little. Although he has still scored in two of the past three games, he has just 144 receiving yards in that period. Collie will probably miss upcoming games against Houston, Philadelphia and Cincinnati. Beneficiaries of Collie's injury stand to be Blair White and Anthony Gonzalez, who said he hasn't aggravated his ankle injury, contrary to reports on Sunday. Both players are worth a look in deeper leagues as long as No. 18 is under center for Indy.
