Jets' Darrelle Revis questionable this week

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis @Revis24 is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. This announcement was made on Friday by Jets head coach Rex Ryan. Revis is still nagged by a hamstring injury which has kept him out of two games already this season. "We'll see. He's either healthy enough to play or he's not," Ryan said. "Be smart. I want to see how he makes the trip to Denver. We'll have a light practice out there and by then we'll be able to make our decision. To say he'll definitely play and then he goes out there, this is a long trip, and he's not feeling well, then we're not going to do it. I've been impressed with the way he's looked the past couple of days. We'll see what happens when we get out there."

Fantasy Analysis:

Revis should be able to play as he started last week against the Minnesota Vikings and limited Randy Moss to one four-yard reception, unfortunately it was for a touchdown. Antonio Cromartie also covered Moss during that game. The Jets haven't really been the same this year on defense despite their success so far. The numbers aren't quite as stellar as their 2009 season when they led the league in numerous categories. Revis has already missed two games and has been accused of not playing with 100% effort. In any case, the Jets defense remains a fantasy starter in all leagues.
