2010 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person
Kareem Jackson, CB, Alabama
Jackson is leaving Alabama after his junior year, but he still garnered a ton of experience at the college level. The cornerback started 12 of 13 games as a freshman for Alabama and he was a starter ever since. Jackson finished sixth on the team with 66 tackles as a freshman in 2007, eighth with 44 tackles in 2008, in his National Championship-winning season as a junior he was sixth on the team with 49 total tackles. He also had 13 pass breakups, 14 passes defensed, and he returned an interception 79 yards against Mississippi. Jackson is extremely dangerous with the ball in his hands. He was a standout running back in high school before converting to the defensive side of the ball. Owning a rare combination of size and speed, he stands at 5'11' (he is sometimes generously listed at 6'0') and 192 pounds. At the NFL combine he ran an impressive 4.41 in the 40-yard-dash. He might be the most underrated player in the entire draft right now
