Martavis Bryant Scouting Report

Martavis Bryant is a lean and long receiver with inconsistent hands. After running a 4.42 at the combine, his draft stock is very high and could be a Day 2 prospect on some boards.

Very lean build and long strider. Excellent straight-line speed and has a few moves to make defenders miss after the catch. Some wasted motion when getting in and out of his breaks. Returner experience. Big play potential and can stretch the field vertically. Solid leaping ability and does well to high-point the ball.

Easily redirected by hand/arm checking. Needs to add more core strength. Hesitant over the middle. Lackadaisical style of play. Lacks edge, toughness. Does he want it? Unreliable hands. Athleticism puts him in position but concentration lapses fail to seal the deal.

Bryant projects as an early third round prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft.
