Kyle Calloway, OT, Iowa
Kyle Calloway, like teammate Bryan Bulaga, is another rock solid Iowa offensive linemen. Calloway won't be as highly talked about because right tackle isn't as glamorous as the left side, but he is one of the more technically sound linemen available this year. Calloway began his career with the Hawkeyes at left guard. He started all 12 games for Iowa as a sophomore -- 11 as their left tackle before moving to the right side at the end of the season. Over the last two seasons, Calloway has started all 24 games he has played in on the right side of the line. The versatility to play all three of those positions during his collegiate career should excite many scouts. Though there is a red flag that may concern some teams, as Calloway was arrested for drunken driving last summer and was suspended for Iowa's season opener in 2009. Calloway plays a very similar style to former Hawkeye Marshall Yanda, who has bounced between tackle and guard for the Ravens the past few seasons. Calloway is likely to be selected in the mid third round area. Kyle Calloway had a very solid week of practice during the East-West Shrine Game. Calloway doesn't do anything that wows scouts, but he's very physical and consistent. Calloway comes from a program that has put a lot of good linemen in the NFL, which will only help his draft stock. Calloway is likely a third round pick, but could slide into the late second round.
