Week 6: Sit 'Em
Owen Daniels has not had a touchdown so far this season. However, this is not my major concern. I worry about the minimal receptions Owens is putting up. He has only caught a maximum of three balls in a game this season. I had great expectations for the Schaub and Owens connection. I have so far been disappointed and hesitate to recommend starting Owens until he starts showing value at his position. There are quite a few tight ends out there and Owens should not be toward the top of your list.
I am going to make the call and say sit the Dallas defense this week against Minnesota. Minnesota is coming off a loss, but has the ability to blow away any team in the league when their offense and defense are both on. Peterson is an animal in both the running and passing games and I foresee him dissecting this defense. The Dallas defense is allowing 100 plus yards to running backs and 200 plus yards to quarterbacks so far this season. I am fully expecting Minnesota to roll over Dallas at home.
