Week 5: Start 'Em
WR David Gettis, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
This is my super duper sleeper for a possible start this week, only worth a look in deep deep leagues where you are in need of starter due to mass injuries or bye week issues. David Gettis is a 6th round pick for Carolina out of Baylor, and over the past few weeks he has been getting more action (even leading the Panthers in targets last week with 6 after Steve Smith went down with an ankle injury). It's looking more and more like Smith will miss this week's upcoming game with the Chicago Bears and that will leave a chance for rookies David Gettis and Brandon LaFell to start. It seems that Clausen and Gettis have built some rapport with each other as Clausen seems to look for Gettis. If you're in dire need, maybe give Gettis a look.
TE Tony Moeaki, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Most people would assume that either Dwayne Bowe or Chris Chambers would be Matt Cassel's favorite target, and with that thinking most people would be wrong. Over the Chiefs' 3-0 start, Tony Moeaki has been Kansas City's #1 option in the passing game. Moeaki leads the Chiefs in all major passing categories, targets (19), receptions (12), receiving yards (123) and receiving TD's (2). He looks to be the red zone target, scoring a TD in 2 out of 3 weeks. No one should mistake Moeaki for Antonio Gates, but if you have injury or bye week issues and are in need of a TE (especially in PPR leagues), Moeaki might make a good start this week. Expect 4 catches.
