Week 9: Start 'Em
WR Kevin Walter, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
It's been a weird season for Kevin Walter owners. He missed the first 2 games with an injury, then he had a great first game back (7 receptions for 96 yards and 1 touchdown), but since then he hasn't caught more than 4 balls or had more than 41 yards receiving, not to mention he has gone 5 straight games without a touchdown. I'm sure by now he is on most owner's benches; well, time to dust him off and get him starting again. Texans TE Owen Daniels (who was having a monster season) went down with a season ending injury, thus opening the door for Walter to start getting more looks from QB Matt Schaub. Make sure Walter is back in your line up.
TE Fred Davis, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Atlanta has had a tough time defending TES this year; look for this week to be no different as they face Fred Davis and the Washington Redskins. Davis will be starting in place of the injured Chris Cooley; while his blocking isn't so good, he has great hands and should make people forget Cooley very quickly. When Davis replaced Cooley 2 weeks ago, he went off for 8 catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. This week he faces the Falcons ,who are giving up an average of 5.7 receptions for 75.4 yards per game to TE this year. If you have a spot open for a TE, then make sure to start Davis.
