Week 6: Sit 'Em
TE Chris Cooley, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Cooley has been the primary receiver in Washington's shambled passing game. Last week Cooley was regulated to blocking duty when Samuels went out with a neck stinger and if he is kept in the blocking scheme, his value drops significantly. It is likely that even if Cooley is brought back into the passing game full force that teams will catch onto the schemes as Jason Campbell is limited in terms of his ability to open the game through the air and Cooley will be covered early and often. Fred Davis has shown some promise and this is also a thorn in the side of Cooley owners.
Los Angeles
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Despite what many of us thought, Denver is off to a stellar start under a new coach and with several key new faces. Orton and Moreno are providing the leadership on offense that Denver needed and its defense is stepping up big time. San Diego will try to light up the Denver defense this week with LT and Sproles on the ground and in the short passing game and Rivers, Jackson and Gates will carry the rest. I would anticipate that Moreno, Orton and Marshall have a solid outing and at least match as best they can the San Diego offense. Last week's win over New England shows Denver is a true threat and I now feel this trend will continue.
Minnesota
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Minnesota has not faced a team this season that can protect its QB like Baltimore can. Therefore, Flacco, Mason and Heap are likely to capitalize on the air attack and also keep running room for Ray Rice. Baltimore brings to the table a strong defense, strong offensive line and emerging offensive attack on the ground and passing. I would anticipate that this game will be high scoring with Minnesota's defense struggling to keep the Baltimore offense at bay.
