Week 5: Sleepers of the Week
WR Steve Breaston, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Steve Breaston and the Arizona Cardinals return from a bye week to face the Houston Texans in week five. I expect this game to be a shootout right from the opening whistle, and would suggest getting all of your Cardinals and Texans into your lineups this week. In his two games this season, Breaston has caught 12 passes for 177 yards and zero touchdowns. Kurt Warner has been looking to Breaston early and often, as opposing defenses have been keying in on taking away Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. Breaston has yet to find the endzone this season, but this should come to an end this week against the Texans. Kurt Warner is spreading the ball around nicely so far this season, and Breaston should be on his way to another 1,000 yard receiving season. Fantasy owners should insert Steve Breaston into their lineups and can expect five receptions for 75 yards and one touchdown from the Cardinals' number three wide receiver.
WR Sidney Rice, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Sidney Rice and the Minnesota Vikings travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams in week five. Rice has stepped his game up over the past two weeks, catching nine passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns against the 49ers and Packers. Brett Favre has locked onto Rice as one of his go to wide receivers, and should continue to look for Rice this week in St. Louis. Rice is able to get open down the field, and Brett Favre looked more comfortable Monday night -- throwing the ball deep -- than he had in the first three games. St. Louis has not played well on either side of the ball this season, and the Vikings should be able to exploit the Rams defense on Sunday. Fantasy owners should pick up Sidney Rice if he is available in their leagues, and he makes a good spot start this week. Rice should top 70 yards receiving and score one touchdown this week in St. Louis.
