Week 2: Start 'Em
WR Louis Murphy, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Louis Murphy, yup that's right Louis Murphy. You ask who is this guy, well don't worry you're not the first. Louis Murphy is the receiver who caught that 4th down long bomb pass in the 4th quarter of Monday night's game. Murphy is a rookie receiver drafted in the 4th round of this year's draft and went a little unnoticed after the Raiders drafted Darrius Heyward-Bey with the #7 overall pick. While Heyward-Bey got all the attention, Murphy was working on getting used to the NFL and building a good relationship with Jamarcus Russell. Murphy was targeted a team leading 9 times, catching 4 balls for 87 yards and a touchdown. Until someone else steps up, Murphy seems to be the #1 receive in Oakland. Put him in your lineup.
TE Ben Watson, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
I (along with many others) was ready to write off Ben Watson before the season started, wondering if he would even make the team. He was coming off 2 straight sub par seasons and the Patriots had signed veteran Chris Baker (who looked great in the pre-season). Well Watson made the roster and had a great first week, catching 6 balls for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns. With Brady back from injuries and looking to his TE in the red zone more often, it's time to pick up Watson off the scrap heap and get him into your lineup.
