Deep WRs
WR Hank Baskett, --- - Deep-league Only
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
The prospects aren't good for Henry Randall Baskett III. In fact, if he wasn't such a big contributor on special teams, there would likely be no room for him at all. With DeSean Jackson, Kevin Curtis, Jason Avant, Jeremy Maclin and Reggie Brown, the Eagles are loaded with mostly speedy (not Brown) and mostly young (not Curtis) receivers. It'll take a small miracle for Baskett to play his way into serious fantasy consideration.
WR Reggie Brown, --- - Deep-league Only
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Brown had a two-year stint as starter, but was bumped last season in favor of DeSean Jackson. This year, Brown finds himself buried on preliminary depth chart projections and his odds of moving up aren't good. He needs to survive preseason before anyone starts weighing his fantasy potential.
WR David Clowney, --- - Deep-league Only
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Clowney is a preseason superstar who has only played in two regular season games (managing only one catch).
In the Jets' preseason opener this year, he broke free for 100+ yards and a TD. He added another TD the next week. Clowney certainly has the speed, but is a little undersized. Opportunity knocks, though, and a strong performance this August could net him a starting gig. His competition right now includes Chanci Stuckey, Brad Smith and Wallace Wright -- not exactly a murderer's row of fantasy superstars.
WR Malcom Floyd, --- - Deep-league Only
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
At 6'5" and 225lbs, Malcolm Floyd makes a huge target, maybe too huge to be effective playing out of the slot. He had four touchdown receptions playing in a reserve role last season and would be a decent fantasy pickup if Chris Chambers was forced to miss any time.
WR Jabar Gaffney, --- - Deep-league Only
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Gaffney has only once surpassed two TDs in any of his seven seasons so, even if a Brandon Marshall holdout (or related incident) elevates him to starter status, his value is limited. He just doesn't have star potential, especially catching passes from Kyle Orton.
WR James Hardy, --- - Deep-league Only
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Hardy had surgery to repair a torn ACL last winter. Chances are, he'll start the season on the PUP list. He faces steep odds to make a necessary rapid mid-season climb up the depth charts. At this point, he's barely worth keeping on your fantasy radar.
