RB Lorenzo Booker, ---

Before the 2008 season the Eagles traded a 4th round pick to the Miami Dolphins for Lorenzo Booker, hoping he could be the back up to oft injured starting running back Brian Westbrook. Even though Westbrook was injured and missed some time, Booker still didn't produce, being active for only 10 games and totaling only 89 yards for the season. He has done nothing during training camp or in either of the first 2 pre-season games; as it stands now, rookie LeSean McCoy is Westbrook's handcuff. Booker isn't worth drafting in any type of pool, you can forget his name.
RB Patrick Cobbs, ---

As it stands now, Patrick Cobbs is 3rd on the depth chart behind Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Since becoming a Dolphin in 2006 Cobbs has been stuck behind Brown and others. That looks to be the same this year and until Brown or Williams go down, Cobbs isn't worth drafting in any league.
RB James Davis, --- - Deep-league Only

Davis was drafted in the 6th round by the Cleveland Browns as a possible replacement for veteran Jamal Lewis in the future. Davis has been very impressive so far this off season; he has looked great in pass protection and has shown great speed. In the Browns' 2nd pre- season game Davis rushed 12 for 116 yards, including an 81 yard touchdown run where he showed a great burst of speed. As of right now Davis is not only behind Lewis, but also Jerome Harrison (and unless there is an injury to either one of those, Davis won't see very much action this season). If Lewis went down, the Browns might decide to give the bulk of the carries to Davis and not Harrison. At this point Davis isn't worth drafting, unless you're in a very deep keeper league and even then it might not be worth a pick.
RB Jacob Hester, ---

Last season the Chargers drafted Jacob Hester out of LSU in hopes that he would help them replace Michael Turner (who left to go play for Atlanta). Unfortunately for people who drafted Hester, Darren Sproles took over for Turner and became LT's handcuff. This season Hester will be used much more often as a fullback, making him somewhat useless in fantasy world. Unless you think he has a chance to get real play when LT retires (making him somewhat draft worthy in keeper league), I think Hester is a name you can forget.
RB Gartrell Johnson, ---

This should be the first and last time you read about Gartrell Johnson this season. He was drafted in the 4th round by San Diego and we're not sure why. He has zero chance of doing anything this season and that's if he makes the team. The Chargers already have LT and Sproles and they will account for pretty much all the carries unless an injury occurs -- even if one occurs, don't expect Johnson to see much action. At this point Johnson is battling veteran Michael Bennett for the 3rd spot on the depth chart. Forget this name and move on to someone else.

When Kenny Watson was released, Brian Leonard was promoted to #2 on the depth chart behind Cedric Benson. Leonard played his first 2 seasons in St. Louis, being the back-up in 2007 to Steven Jackson and playing in only 2 games in 2008 due to a shoulder injury. I have never been a fan of Cedric Benson (who before last season was a major bust in Chicago, dealing with inconsistent play and injuries). I still have major doubts about Benson making it through a full season. Even if he went down I'm not so sure Leonard would get the bulk of the carries. He is more suited as a 3rd down back than an every down back. He isn't worth anything more than a very very late pick and only if you have Benson.
