Week 16: Sleepers of the Week
RB Pierre Thomas, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Pierre Thomas and the New Orleans Saints travel to Detroit to take on the 0-14 Lions in week 16. Over the past five games, Pierre Thomas has established himself as the go-to running back out of the backfield for the Saints. Thomas is coming off his best game of the season in which he carried the ball 22 times for 87 yards and one touchdown while also adding seven catches for 59 yards and his second touchdown of the game. With Reggie Bush nursing another injury, Thomas should be in line for close to 20 touches again this week, making him a must start against the awful Lions defense. If you were smart enough to pick up Pierre Thomas earlier in the season, he is now paying major dividends. Fantasy owners must put Pierre Thomas in their lineups this week, and can expect close to 100 total yards and at least one touchdown from the Saints' running back.
WR Lance Moore, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Lance Moore and the New Orleans Saints travel to Detroit to take on the Lions in week 16. Moore has had three disappointing games in a row after putting up great numbers over the previous four games before that. One of the streakiest fantasy wide receivers this season, I expect Moore to have a bounce back game this week against the Lions. Moore caught five passes for only 27 yards in week 15 against the Bears, but was targeted on nine passes from Drew Brees. If Moore continues to get close to double digit targets, he should put up better numbers over the remainder of the season. The Lions will not be able to handle the Saints' explosive offense in week 16 and Moore should be able to find the endzone. Fantasy owners can start Lance Moore and can expect 75 receiving yards and one touchdown from the Saints' wide receiver.
