Week 4: Start 'Em
WR Lance Moore, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
First Colston went down and now Shockey, not sure who is next. While there are more known names, Lance Moore has a good chance to be QB Drew Brees' safest option. While Moore isn't the fastest or the biggest receiver on the team, he leads the healthy receivers in catches with 10 for 102 yards while being targeted 12 times. While the other options on New Orleans can make the big play, Moore gives Brees the safe option underneath he used to have with Shockey and Colston and should be better in leagues that have point per reception. Giving Moore a chance to start this week vs. the 49ers as a WR3 or flex looks to be a good idea.
TE Tony Gonzalez, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
While you might be surprised to see Tony Gonzalez on this list, don't be. He plays on one of the worst teams in the NFL and with a group of quarterbacks who are no better then practice squad players. After 3 weeks, he only has 1 TD and the last 2 weeks he hasn't even broken 40 yards receiving. All that will change this week when he is at home and faces the 3-0 Denver Broncos. Denver should get up early on the Chiefs, leaving them no choice but to pass the ball (the one thing Denver has trouble with). They are giving up a league worst 315 yards per game, and so even the Chiefs should have an easier time passing the ball. If you have had Gonzalez on the bench this season, or feel that he might deserve to go to the bench, think again. Start him as a TE or flex and watch out.
