Week 2: Start 'Em
TE Anthony Fasano, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
It seems that any team that Bill Parcells is a part of will always make good use of the tight end position, going back all the way to Mark Bavaro. One of the first moves Parcells made when he came to the Dolphins was to acquire his former player with the Dallas Cowboys, TE Anthony Fasano. The best thing to happen to Fasano was the Dolphins' signing of Chad Pennington (who doesn't have a strong arm and likes to go to his tight ends a lot). Proof of this came during week 1, when Fasano caught 8 balls for 84 yards and 1 TD. With very few true #1 TE, put Fasano in your lineup and watch out.
TE Randy McMichael, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
One of the best ways to tell how a player will do is to see what kind of offense his team is running. The Rams brought in new offensive coordinator Al Saunders, who held the same position with the Chiefs and most recently the Redskins. Unless you haven't watched football in the past 8 years, you would know that both those teams rely heavily on their Pro Bowl tight ends -- Tony Gonzalez in Kansas City and Chris Cooley with the Redskins. So it's not crazy to think that the Rams will rely heavily on McMichael this season. Starting WR Drew Bennett is gone for the next 4-6 weeks, meaning more balls coming to McMichael. Not only is he great for leagues with tight ends, but he should be a more then serviceable flex (especially if you're in point per reception leagues).
