QB Tom Savage, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%Yes, clearly there's not a lot of options to stream at quarterback, and if you are playing in a league that plays a Week 17 championship, you should be set at quarterback, but if you had Derek Carr or Marcus Mariota and the waiver wire is empty, Savage is in play. He looked terrible against the Bengals, but they are a good defense. The Texans have nothing to play for, but one would think they want to get Savage more reps and confidence heading into the postseason. The Titans have been awful against quarterbacks and have nothing to play for. Let's put it this way, Blake Bortles just passed for 325 yards against the Titans.
RB Alfred Blue, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%The Texans have nothing to play for in Week 17 against the Titans. They are locked into the fourth seed in the AFC. Lamar Miller has already said he is not sure if he will play this week and players tend to be optimistic. Miller has been banged up for most of the season and played through it until last week when he aggravated an ankle injury in Week 15. It makes no sense for the Texans to play Miller, so expect Blue to start. Blue had 21 carries for 73 yards with a touchdown and four catches for 17 yards against the Bengals. Blue should see volume against the Titans.
RB Alex Collins, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%Collins could be a worth start in Week 17 depending on the status of Thomas Rawls, who left last week with a shoulder injury. Collins came in and rushed for 28 yards on seven carries and caught four passes for 19 yards. If Collins gets the start, he gets the best matchup a running back can ask for against the 49ers, who have allowed the most Fantasy points to running backs, including nine rushing touchdowns the last four games.
RB Jacquizz Rodgers, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%With running backs, it comes down to volume and Rodgers could be in line for the touches in Week 17. Doug Martin was a surprise healthy inactive, and if that continues this week, Rodgers should see the most touches. It's clear the coaching staff loves Rodgers, who played 62 percent of the snaps. Rodgers had 15 carries for 63 yards with a touchdown and caught two passes for 15 yards.
WR J.J. Nelson, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%Nelson is a big play threat and can produce on limited volume. The good news for Nelson is the volume has increased the last two weeks as he has become a key piece of the offense with 18 targets the last two games. Nelson has scored in four straight games. He had seven targets against the Seahawks on Saturday and caught three passes for 132 yards with a score and plays at the Rams this week.
