*** Criteria for Sleeper QBs is players $5,000 or under on DK. Criteria for Sleeper WR/RB/TEs are players $5,000 or under on DK. This sleepers article is designed to accommodate both DFS and season long players.
QB Matt Barkley, BUF
With an underrated running game and a group of healthy WRs, Barkley is worth a look in Week 16 vs. the Skins. Barkley is priced low on DK and is coming off a performance with 362 yards and two TDs while averaging 18.36 DK points in his last three home starts. The Redskins have allowed an impressive 20 TD receptions to opponents this season, but 6 of the 20 have come over the last three games. The Skins enter Week 16 with bruised egos and slim playoff hopes, and the scrappy Bears will fight for all four quarters.
QB Tom Savage, ---
When we drafted DeAndre Hopkins we thought he was matchup-proof because Nuk put up great numbers with Brian Hoyer, T.J. Yates, Ryan Mallett, and Brandon Weeden at QB in his 2015 breakout season, Osweiler has been that bad this year, but backup QB Tom Savage resurrected Hopkins, who had his best day since Week 6. Savage will be playing in front of a raucous Christmas Eve Texas crowd that will go bananas when Savage makes plays. In a short week, this game be played with a loose strategy and eclipse the projected Vegas total of 41 points.
RB Tevin Coleman, SF
Atlanta's offense is humming at the right time, and Coleman is a value play worth a closer look. Seven of Coleman's nine TDs have come in road games. He also averages 19.3 DK points in road contests. Atlanta will continue to lean on both Devonta Freeman and Coleman while the WRs heal up. The former Indiana RB will be owned at low rate and according to the numbers, Coleman is due.
RB Derrick Henry, TEN
A crafty Week 16 sleeper could be Derrick Henry as the Titans are fine-tuning their dual RB attack for a potential playoff run. The underrated offensive line of the Titans continues to dominate the line of scrimmage and Henry is getting goal-line carries. If the Titans build any kind of lead, Henry will get an increased workload. As the Titans will want to keep DeMarco Murray healthy and fresh. The Jags have allowed 12 rushing TDs to RBs, tied for fifth-most in the league.
RB Mark Ingram, ---
Ingram is not typically a sleeper player but priced at $4,800 on DK and with Tim Hightower in the mix, consider Hightower as an RB2 or flex in Week 16. The Saints offense heads into Week 16 flying high, and Tampa faces its second consecutive challenging road game. Ingraham is coming off a 17-carry game where he averaged 4.6 YPC. The 52-point Vegas total is the 2nd highest on the board and Ingram has upside in Week 16.
