Week 10: Triple Threat Waiver Wire Pickups
WR J.J. Nelson, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%Putting together a lineup with six teams on bye coupled with all the injuries can be difficult. Often, people will drop a player on a bye because they desperately need to fill a starting slot. That might have happened with Nelson, or he might not have been added before his big game in Week 8. Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Nelson would start and he earned it. In Week 7 against a tough Seahawks defense, Nelson had three catches for 84 yards on seven targets and the following week against the Panthers he had 12 targets, catching eight for 79 yards with two touchdowns. Nelson is a small receiver, but he has a lot of speed. John Brown has been battling injuries and Michael Floyd has been ineffective, and the opportunity for targets will be there for Nelson.
TE C.J. Fiedorowicz, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%Fiedorowicz is coming off a bye week, so he could have been dropped. Fiedorowicz has been consistent and targeted frequently over the last several games for the Texans. Fiedorowicz has double-digit points in PPR formats in four of his last five games. The one game he didn't, he had eight points. He has at least seven targets in four straight games and 29 total in that span.
