Week 15: Waiver Wire Pickups
WR Charles Johnson, PHI

Speaking of young receivers with potential, Johnson fits the bill perfectly. He's been listed in this space in the past because of his appealing combination of size and athleticism and also because of his offensive coordinator. Norv Turner has a track record of turning talented, young receivers into stars, and Johnson looks set to be his next project. The 6-foot-2 second-year WR ran a 4.38 at his 2013 pro day and has come onto the scene forcefully in the past three weeks. Most recently, in Week 14, he caught four of his eight targets for 103 yards and a touchdown. He's put himself solidly in the WR3 conversation and should be added in most leagues despite tough matchups against the Lions and the Dolphins in Weeks 15 and 16, respectively.
WR Donte Moncrief, ---

Along with the rest of the Colts' offense except T.Y. Hilton, Moncrief had a very pedestrian outing in Week 14 from a statistical standpoint. So why is he appearing in this space again? Well, he seems poised to pass Reggie Wayne and become Indy's No. 2 WR. In fact, that process may already be underway. Wayne is 36 years old and struggling physically. On Sunday, he managed just one catch on eight targets amid reports that he is playing through a torn triceps as well as knee and elbow injuries. This is almost certainly his final season, and Moncrief is the heir apparent. It would be too bold to call Moncrief a worthy starter in the fantasy playoffs this year. But dynasty-league owners looking ahead to 2015 should snag Moncrief now. The price of acquiring him is as low as it will be for the foreseeable future. He's likely to be a hot name in next year's draft, so get him while you can.
TE Marcedes Lewis, DEN
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
In Week 14, Lewis had his best game since returning to the field a couple of weeks ago following an ankle injury that sidelined him for most of the season. He finally showed some chemistry with QB Blake Bortles, and managed to catch three of his four targets for 69 yards. The Jaguars will close out their season against three poor pass defenses (Baltimore, Tennessee and Houston), which bodes well for Lewis' fantasy value at this critical juncture. Fantasy owners desperate for tight end production should consider Lewis the best waiver-wire option at the position this week.
