Week 11: Pickups of the Week
RB Warrick Dunn, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Dunn has put up some good stats the past two games with Jerious Norwood injured. In week 9, he had 27 carries for 100 yards, plus a TD and in the week 10 win over Carolina, he had 26 carries for 89 yards, plus a TD. If Norwood's injury continues to limit him, then Dunn should continue to put up good stats each week. Dunn is probably only available in some of the smaller leagues, however if he is a free agent in any fantasy league he is worth picking up (he would be a good start for fantasy owners in leagues that use a flex position).
RB Justin Fargas, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Fargas has seen his playing time significantly increase the past few games and is now the starting RB for the Raiders. In the last three games, Fargas has 58 carries for 246 yards, 1 TD, and 10 receptions for 74 yards. If he is a free agent in any fantasy league that you are in, then I would recommend picking him up for your fantasy team.
RB Ryan Grant, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Grant had 25 carries for 119 yards, plus a TD, along with having 5 receptions for 20 yards in the Packers' win over Minnesota. Since becoming their starting running back three games ago, Grant has 66 carries for 278 yards, plus 1 TD, and 12 receptions for 64 yards during that span of games. He has a favorable schedule in the second half of the year, so if you are looking for a RB, then consider Grant if he is available in your league.
RB Priest Holmes, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
With Larry Johnson out with an injury, the Chiefs have turned the RB job over to Priest Holmes. In Sunday's loss to Denver, Holmes had 20 carries for 65 yards and 2 receptions for 14 yards. Reports are that Johnson could miss several games, so if Holmes is still available in your league, then immediately pick him up for a roster spot.
RB Chester Taylor, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Rookie of the Year candidate Adrian Petersen left Sunday's game with a knee injury and Taylor came in to get 3 carries for 37 yards and 2 receptions for 59 yards. Petersen was scheduled for an MRI on Monday, so his status for the week eleven game versus Oakland (and their #30 ranked run defense) is up in the air. If Chester Taylor is available in any league you are in, I recommend picking him up immediately in case Petersen misses any time.
WR Mark Clayton, ---
MyFantasyLeague availability: 100%FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
The third year receiver from Oklahoma was considered a good sleeper pick heading into the 2007 season, but he has been a disappointment thus far this year. However, on Sunday Clayton broke out to have his first 100 yard receiving game of the season, getting 8 receptions for 107 yards. The Ravens' offense has struggled, but if the much-stronger armed Kyle Boller takes over at QB, then Clayton should be targeted more each game. He is a free agent in most leagues, so if you are looking for a WR to take a chance on the second half and have a roster spot available, then Clayton is worth considering.
