Week 15: Sit 'Em
QB Eli Manning, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
A terrible season for Eli Manning and the Giants may get worse this week, as the Seahawks and their number one ranked defense come to town. The Seahawks have been excellent against the pass this season, and with Manning's propensity to turn the ball over, it could be a long day for the two time Super Bowl champion. Manning has turned the ball over three times over the last two games, and at least two more can be expected this week. I would stay away from using almost all New York Giants players this week, with the excpetion of Victor Cruz, who also may be in a position to disappoint fantasy owners.
RB Chris Ivory, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Despite moving ahead of Bilal Powell on the Jets' depth chart, Chris Ivory has struggled to put up meaningful fantasy numbers. Over the last three games, Ivory has averaged just 60 yards per game, with his lone touchdown coming last week. Ivory and the Jets' running game will face their biggest test of the season in week 15, as the Panthers boast the league's best run defense -- allowing just under 80 yards per game on the ground. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere for a Flex option this week.
RB Donald Brown, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Despite getting the start in week 14, Donald Brown rushed just four times for 11 yards in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Brown was relegated to the bench, with Trent Richardson receiving the majority of the team's carries out of the backfield. Brown may be the team's starter again this week, but with the Colts poised to ride the hot hand, he could be on the sideline for much of the game once again. It is not a worthwhile gamble for fantasy owners to take, as it is a high risk, low reward situation. Even if Brown does play most of the game, he could still be a fantasy disappointment.
RB Bobby Rainey, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Bobby Rainey and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face a tough test against the 49ers' 10th ranked rush defense this week. Rainey has performed well since taking over as the Bucs starter, including a 127 yard, one touchdown rushing performance against the Bills last week. Rainey has been averaging more than 20 touches per game since taking over, a number that figures to be eclipsed again this week. Even with close to 20 touches this week, Rainey is unlikely to break the 100 yard mark, leaving his fantasy value mostly dependant on finding the endzone. I would not trust Rainey as anything more than a Flex play this week.
WR Danny Amendola, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
A fantasy disappointments this season, Danny Amendola has been unable to live up to his lofty fantasy draft position. Amendola has been hindered by nagging injuries and poor chemistry with Tom Brady, leading to fantasy owners being disappointed. Amendola should be on the field more than usual this week, as Rob Gronkowski is done for the season with another longterm injury. Even with added playing time, Amendola can not be trusted as anything more than a WR 3 this week against the Dolphins.
