Week 3: Sit 'Em
WR Stevie Johnson, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
The hero of last week's comeback win for the Buffalo Bills, I expect Steve Johnson to struggle against the Jets. Johnson turned in an excellent performance against the Panthers, catching eight passes for 111 yards including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds. This followed a three catch, 39-yard, one TD game in the season opener against the Patriots. Johnson is an up and down, boom or bust fantasy wide receiver, as he is just as likely to put up a great game as he is to turn in a terrible one. Johnson should be matched up with Antonio Cromartie this week, which will make it tough for Johnson to crack the 100 yard mark again. The oddball wide receiver averaged five receptions for 83 yards in two games against the Jets last season, a number I do not expect him to reach this week. Fantasy owners should look at Johnson as no more than a middle of the road WR3 this week in New York.
WR Roddy White, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Hindered by a high ankle sprain, Roddy White has gotten off to a terrible start this season. The star wide receiver has caught just five passes for 40 yards and zero touchdowns in two games, while mostly acting as a decoy for the Falcons. White has been on the field for just over 50 percent of Atlanta's offensive snaps, a clear indication that he is nowhere near 100 percent healthy. White should be the Falcons' number three option in the pass game this weekend, as Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez are likely to get many more looks. Fantasy owners can not count on White being able to shake off the injury this week against the Dolphins, and should wait for him to prove he is fully healthy before putting him back in fantasy lineups.
