Week 10: Game Time Decisions - Injury Update
WR Antonio Brown, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
The 3rd year WR from Central Michigan is listed as doubtful for the Monday game against Kansas City after he suffered an ankle injury during the week 9 win over the Giants. On the season, Brown is averaging 62 YPG with just one TD. Emmanuel Sanders is expected to draw the start opposite Mike Wallace against a Kansas City defense that is ranked 11th against the pass (222 YPG). The Chiefs have allowed the 2nd most TDs through the air (17), making Sanders worth considering if you are in need of an injury or bye week replacement.
WR Percy Harvin, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Percy Harvin had a sideline blowup with head coach Leslie Frazier during the week 9 loss in Seattle and who can blame him considering QB Christian Ponder has failed to exceed 100 yards passing in 2 of the past 3 games. Adding insult to injury, Harvin suffered an ankle injury that is expected to keep him out of practice until Friday at the earliest. The Vikings' season is in free fall and Harvin is their only reliable WR, so he'll likely make all efforts to suit up against Detroit. The 4th year WR from Florida is averaging 75 YPG with 4 TDs and if he has to skip this week's game it would be a downgrade for the Vikings special teams as well as their offense as a whole. Michael Jenkins and Jerome Simpson would likely get the start if Harvin is ruled out, but neither is on the fantasy radar. TE Kyle Rudolph, who has been a non-factor over the past month, would likely see an uptick in targets, but with Ponder under center no member of the Vikings passing game is recommended if Harvin is unable to go.
