Week 6: Bargain Hunter
TE Heath Miller, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Pittsburgh Steelers veteran tight end Heath Miller has been productive with 19 receptions for 170 yards and four touchdowns this season. He should be the beneficiary of a tasty Week 6 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, who have allowed the most fantasy points per game this season to opposing tight ends (18.1).
Valued at $9.21 in Yahoo! Salary Cap formats (which makes him the 11th most expensive tight end), Miller isn't a true under the radar bargain. The combination of an extremely favorable matchup and Miller's propensity for finding the end zone this season make him a must own in Week 6 for salary cap owners.
TE Tim Tebow, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
Tim Tebow is not a quality starting quarterback for an NFL franchise for a number of reasons; the biggest of which are his accuracy issues. For fantasy purposes, he is a legitimate starting option thanks to his running ability. Salary cap owners need to consider picking up Tebow for their team in the near future, because if he ends up taking over the starting job, his current Yahoo! Salary Cap price of $10.10 will surely go up.
Mark Sanchez has been atrocious, posting just six touchdowns to go along with six interceptions and a 66.6 quarterback rating through five games this season. At some point the Jets, who have lost three of their last four games, are going to have to make a change at quarterback and Tebow has shown that he can be a productive fantasy option in the past. The weapons around Tebow are just abysmal at this point due to injuries and ineffectiveness, but if he can be a factor running the football and score a couple touchdowns, he could be a tremendous value for salary cap owners in the near future.
