Week 4: Super Sleepers
WR Robert Meachem, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
With Eddie Royal banged up, Robert Meachem has become the Chargers' second leading receiver. Over the first three games the six year veteren has just 6 receptions for 92 yards, so fantasy owners are probably wondering how he makes this list. The simple answer is that Meachem has been the team's second leading receiver with 49 and 43 yards in the two games in which he has at least one reception. Couple this with the Chiefs pass defense allowing the second most touchdowns ( 8 ) in the league and you have to like his chances to find the end zone this weekend.
WR Andre Roberts, ---
FANTASY PROFILE / STATS & MORE
When you think of Arizona Cardinals receivers the name that comes to mind is Larry Fitzgerald and unless you're a Cardinals fan you probably can't name another receiver. Well, the team's number two receiver this season is the third year man Andre Roberts. Through three games Roberts is the only receiver with more than one touchdown and he is averaging just a half yard per reception less than Fitzgerald. The problem with Roberts is that he only sees a handful of balls per game. In fact, Andre only had one reception in game two, which happened to be for a touchdown which is the only reason he has scored at least 5 fantasy points in each of the Cardinals first three games. Now we don't believe Roberts is going to tear it up every week, but in the right matchup he could be useful to fantasy owners. This week when Arizona hosts the 29th ranked Dolphins pass defense is one of those matchups. Miami's run defense is one of the best in the league, so we don't see a lot of Arizona's offense coming on the ground. This should mean plenty of opportunities for Cardinals receivers.
