Bengals RB Cedric Benson suspended three games

Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson @Cedric_Benson has been suspended for three games for violating the league's personal conduct policy. He was involved in two incidents, one occuring in 2010 and the other this past July. Both brushes with the law involved assault. Benson served five days in jail and was released on September 3 as a result of these two issues. Benson is expected to play this week against the San Francisco 49ers since he will appeal the suspension.

Fantasy Analysis:

If he loses his appeal, he will then serve his suspension. The Bengals next three games come against Buffalo, Jacksonville and Indianapolis. Benson has to be kicking himself since those matchups have big potential. If he is suspended, Bernard Scott becomes the man to own from this backfield. Brian Leonard @Brian40Leonard is also in the mix as well.
