Seahawks WR Sidney Rice has labrum damage

This isn't referring to the report from FOX Sports; this has now been confirmed by Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, who said Monday that wide receiver Sidney Rice @sidneyrice has labrum damage in his shoulder. Carroll said Sunday that Rice was about 80 percent healthy and was practicing so well during the week, it looked like he could play. But a torn labrum would be a major blow for him. The Seahawks put tight end John Carlson on injured reserve before the season began because of a torn labrum.

Fantasy Analysis:

More great news for the Seahawks' offense. Of course, who really knows how much of an impact Rice would have on that team with Tarvaris Jackson at quarterback? I don't expect to see Rice playing any time soon and even if when he does play, I don't expect him to be very productive. Feel free to drop him in 10-team leagues for a popular waiver wire pickup.
